Description

• Self-starter who is highly motivated, flexible, and able to multi-task to meet deadlines

• Works well in a cross-functional team environment, exhibiting exceptional communication skills

• Skilled and efficient in space planning utilization in AutoCAD and CET

• Experience with and ability to utilize CET design software

• Development of color and material presentations, both electronic (via Canva) and physical

• Knowledge of Groom’s product offerings and product positioning

• Communicate with vendors to determine pricing, discounts, etc.

• Field verification and measurement of site conditions

• Basic understanding of building codes, ADA requirements, and electrical/data requirements applied to a project

• Active and thoughtful participation in client interactions and programming sessions

• Ability to understand and read construction documents

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year program or equivalent work experience with a two-year degree with a Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in Interior Design

• Minimum of two years practical experience in commercial furniture design and planning

• Experience working with Herman Miller and/or Knoll products preferred

• Experience working on design projects for the healthcare industry preferred
