Operations Scheduler & Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and team-oriented Operations Scheduler & Logistics Coordinator to support our commercial furniture operations. This office-based role is responsible for coordinating installation schedules, managing inbound and outbound logistics, communicating with customers, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule furniture installations with customers and installation teams.
Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound shipments.
Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, logistics, and project updates.
Verify received products against purchase orders and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and staging of furniture.
Forecast upcoming projects and identify opportunities to consolidate jobs within the same geographic area to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accurate schedules in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with warehouse staff, installation teams, vendors, and office personnel to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Develop and manage daily installer capacity plans to align labor resources with project demands.
Prepare weekly labor forecasts to support scheduling and operational planning.
Optimize installation calendars to maximize crew utilization and project efficiency.
Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including scheduled vs. available installation hours, weekly backlog.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
Experience in scheduling, logistics, dispatching, warehousing, or operations coordination preferred.
