Grooms Office Environments is proud to have partnered with the City of Branson on the transformation of the former White House Theatre into the new Branson Police Department Headquarters. Our team provided comprehensive furniture specification and installation services to support the department’s operational needs and create a modern, functional workspace for law enforcement professionals.
The new headquarters, located at 2255 Gretna Road, spans 42,360 square feet and represents a significant upgrade from the department’s previous 9,000-square-foot space at City Hall. Designed by Hoefer Welker LLC and built by Cornerstone Building Services, the facility includes:
Administrative offices for police and fire personnel
A crime lab and evidence storage areas
Temporary holding facilities and expanded booking space
Training rooms adaptable for community use
Locker rooms, fitness areas, and dedicated K-9 spaces
This $14.1 million project was completed on time and under budget, funded through a combination of city bonds and tax revenue savings. The new environment supports 95 employees, including 65 officers and 30 civilian staff, with furniture solutions tailored for durability, functionality, and comfort.
