Council of Churches

πŸ“ Location: Springfield, MO

Council of Churches worked alongside architecture firm Paragon Architecture and commercial furniture dealership Grooms Office Environments to develop their brand-new facility in Springfield, MO. This new property more than doubled their available distribution & warehouse space and now has dedicated space for volunteers to serve in all our areas of outreach. The location along a city bus route and close to Highway 65, will make it easier for those in need and those wishing to assist them. With a consolidated campus and a centralized welcoming intake process, the benefit to our neighbors in need will be immediate and exponential. Our team at Grooms worked to create a furniture design to fit the variety of needs for this organization which included private offices, collaborative spaces, flex seating, waiting areas, and meeting rooms.

The mission of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks is to improve the quality of life in our region through compassionate service and outreach to our most vulnerable neighbors by doing together what can best be done together in the name of Jesus Christ. Current programs for Council of Churches include Ambassadors for Children, Bio-Parent Advocacy Program, Child Care Food Program, Connections Handyman Service, Crosslines Resource Center, Ombudsman, RSVP, Safe to Sleep.
