Republic Branch Library
Grooms Office Environments was proud to partner with the Springfield–Greene County Library District to support the completion of the 22,000‑square‑foot Republic Branch Library in Republic, Missouri, a new facility that doubles the size of the previous branch. Grooms completed the furniture specification and installation for select key areas, including the lobby, main library space, children’s area, and teen area. Our goal was to help create functional, welcoming, and durable environments that enhance the library’s updated design and serve the needs of patrons of all ages.
Grooms was thrilled to contribute to the overall experience of this significantly expanded community resource. The areas we completed feature flexible seating, study and lounge options, kid‑friendly elements, and teen‑focused spaces that reflect modern library use and support the activities of the growing Republic community. Our work complements the library’s broader upgrades, which include expanded youth services, a Maker Space featuring 3-D printing, a 150‑seat community room, an outdoor space, and other new amenities throughout the 22,000‑square‑foot facility.
