Grooms is proud to be a veteran-owned company under the leadership of Jonathan and Audrey Kimes Garard. Jonathan supports many military and veteran initiatives including serving on the board for The Warrior's Journey. The military creates a set of unique challenges that most people don’t recognize. These invisible wounds can lead to isolation, addiction, and suicide. The Warrior’s Journey works to raise awareness and create preventative resources to help educate and prepare our warriors for their time in the military and beyond. We are grateful to have worked on the new headquarters for The Warriors Journey in Springfield, MO. Amy Henson (Project Manager) and Samantha Falk (Senior Designer) completed the interior design and commercial furniture selection for this facility.

We partnered with MillerKnoll for this project to showcase their brand collectives throughout the entire building. This allowed us to use a mix of products and materials under one portfolio to design the space. Our main goal was to create a comfortable and inviting space to meet the needs of The Warrior’s Journey and the people they serve from the moment they walk-in. This project is one we are all proud to stand behind.
